Darwin's
newest tourist attraction Crocosaurus Cove is
located right in the heart of Darwin central
tourist precinct.
One of
it's main attractions is the "Cage of Death"
which is described as the ultimate adrenalin
rush.
The cage
dives inside the home of a full grown Saltwater
Croc.
The cage
floor is made of
FRP
Mini Mesh which passed all the tests of
strength plus is UV stabalised and non
corrosive.
If it
passes the Croc test it's sure to pass any
application you will have.

Alinta is one of Melbourne’s electricity
supply retailers with
numerous sub stations thought the state.
They needed
a non corrosive
and non
conductive alternative to the old steel
trench covers that had been in
use for many years.

slippery school yard steps.
FRP Yellow Nosing quickly solved the
problem and immediately stopped them
from
constantly
slipping and
tripping .
The
quartz grit surface gives
plenty of non slip grip, and ease
of mind for all concerned.

the students of this Bendigo
school
The solution was
found by fixing FRP
stair tread overlays to each step.
The
overlay covers the entire step
making it totally slip resistant

Dana is a typical industrial factory in Melbourne’s south east

employees and the
contractors who

went onto the roof to service A/C units.
Fixing

visibility yellow
FRP Roof Walkways
directly onto the ribbing of the roof
make
the roof completely
safe to walk on, and gave the
company the extra confidence that they
were OHS compliant.

Jetty - Hobart TAS |

One of Hobart’s old jetties needed an extreme
makeover, both in look and safety.
A
simple solution was discovered
with the
38mm FRP grating
product. The old timber boards
were replaced with the
FRP Grating,
fixed directly
to the
existing timber structure.
Not only does the
jetty look like new again, the non slip
grating makes it safe for everyone to
enjoy.

who

equipment.
This tractor
has a customised platform for farm
workers to stand on whilst the tractor
is being driven.
The platform is made from

Riddles Creek Sewerage Plant
needed lightweight removable channel covers
for
easy
access to the treatment areas.
The covers
needed to have
solid tops and bottoms so
that nothing could get into the
treatment area.
The 41mm FRP solid tops
were modified by adding an FRP bottom
and stainless steel handles for easy
lifting.

Grampian Princess |

The Grating Company was asked to
supply a solution for slippery steps
aboard The Grampian Prince and had no
hesitation in recommending
TreadGrip
stair tread
covers.
The covers were supplied ready drilled
for easy installation. The resulting
stairs are now safe and offer a slip
resistance factor of 80 in accordance
with BS7976-2 2002.
Above 75 is
considered to be excellent.

The Grating Company was asked to
install
safety handrails,
LadderGrip,
TreadGrip and
non slip gratings
at Transco's operation.
The installation
consisted of twelve
ladders, six ships ladders, 60 metres of
safety handrail, 120 square metres of gratings,
150 tread covers and over 200 ladder
rung covers.
The safety aspects, durability and ease of maintenance made the Grating
Company's products a natural choice.

Anglican Water

The Grating Company designed and
installed two
work platforms,
numerous ladders
(many with cages) and
over 250 square metres of lightweight
fibreglass grating
for Anglican Water in Norfolk.
The part of the project was
completed successfully as part phase one of a much larger
ongoing contract.
